Yes Indeed Disthron honors the world with another awesome example of how to use the Raycaster Extension.
In this version the first two Discasters are basically the first two levels, where as the third includes more uses of switches and some code for shooting at moving bad guys. Excellent Stuff!
MMF user Disthron has released another excellent opensource file to play with for The Raycaster Object. This new example file allows user to see how to make destructible doors/walls as well as create a key system for doors. Awesome Stuff, you can download the example here…
Had a cool idea pop in my head, Could you do dark shadowy corridors with the raycaster, i worked out how to layer two raycaster one for the floor tile and one for the walls and collision, then inbetween them I have a active object that creates the Light circle. Then I got Raycaster creator Daniel Rehn to help me out with the walls, the result is this cool little example file for all you Klikdisc subscribers
